Controlling who can see and access your submission forms is essential for managing your different projects, whether they are public or private. Here’s how you can adjust the visibility settings and why doing so can be useful for specific scenarios.
Steps to Change Project Visibility:
Head to the Projects section in the side panel, select the project you'd like to edit by hitting the three dots and selecting General.
In the top right hand corner you will be able to see View/Share button.
Toggle Between Visibility Options:
Draft: Only team members can see the form. This is ideal for internal submissions or private projects.
Private: Anyone with a link can access the form, but it won't be publicly searchable. This is useful for situations like private competitions or solicited demos (e.g., a music demo where only invited participants can submit).
Public: The form is accessible to anyone and can be found via search. Perfect for open calls or public submissions.
Save Changes: After selecting the desired visibility option, save your changes to apply the new settings.
Why It’s Useful:
Setting the correct visibility ensures that only the right audience can access your forms. For example:
Private contests - you might want only invited participants to submit entries, ensuring that no one else can access the form.
Fee waiver - you may offer the option of waiving submission fees on request. You may therefore create a project specifically for this and set it to private. A link to the private submission form could then be sent to a creator on request. See here for more info on fee waivers.
For solicited demos, such as music submissions, sending a link to specific creators ensures only those whom you want to hear from have the link, and it's not open to the general public.
This feature gives you full control over who participates, keeping your submission process organised and tailored to your needs.
