You've set everything up and now you want to test it out to make sure it's working correctly! To do this you'll want fill out the form as if you were someone submitting material (we call them Creators) to see what the journey is like and what the submission looks like in the platform.
Navigate to the Project you want to test and select the form link.
With the project in Draft status, follow the link to view the form
It will then open the form with a warning at the top that the form is in Draft status and that any submissions will be test submissions.
Fill out the form, making sure all the fields are correct and make a submission.
See the submission will appear in your dashboard under your user name as a Test.
When creating a submission remember that it will be made under your own user account name. Any test submissions will not count towards any submission limits.
Adding a manual submission
You have the ability to manually add submissions through the platform. If testing this method, you will need to create a new dummy creator name and email address and then assign it to the test submission, fill out some fields, add a test attachment and save the submission. You will always be able to archive this later.
