Communicating with creators about their submissions is simple through our messaging platform. There are several notifications available:

Organisation Notifications

  • Any new received messages will automatically show as a new notification in the Unread section of the side panel.

  • Any unread messages will appear with a blue dot

  • Any read messages will display along with the user that opened the message.

  • The "read" status of any messages sent to a creator will be displayed. Please note that a creator will never be able to see if you, as an organisation, has read their messages sent to you.

Creator Notifications

  • When a message is sent to a creator, they will receive an email notification that they have a new message waiting for them in their account.

  • The email will display your Org logo, a small portion of the message and a View or a View and reply button in the email depending on whether the message can be replied to. When following the link they will be directed to log in to access their Send Something account and then sent directly through to the message sent to them. If the permission allows, the creator will then be able to reply to the message within the platform.

  • They will also have a notification in their list of notifications within the platform.

Notifications

When a new message is received, there will an alert (flashing blue dot) in the notification centre of the dashboard. Clicking on the notification will enable the user to go directly to the message.
