To make a submission on Dapple, open the submission link an organisation has shared with you, create or sign in to your Dapple account, fill out the form, attach any required files, and hit submit. Every submission is saved to your Dapple dashboard so you can track its status and message the organisation directly.
What you need before you start
The submission link from the organisation (usually from their website, social media, or an email).
An email address, or a Google / Apple / Microsoft account.
The files the organisation has asked for — scripts, images, PDFs, audio, video, etc. Most common file types are supported.
Payment details, if the submission has a fee. Dapple processes payments through Stripe.
Step 1: Sign in or create an account
Click the submission link. You'll see the organisation's name at the top of the page — confirm you're in the right place. Choose how to sign in: Google, Apple, Microsoft, or email. If you choose email, Dapple sends a one-time magic link to your inbox; open the email and click the link to sign in. Full signup details: How to Create an Account
Step 2: Complete the submission form
Fill in each field the organisation has set up. Forms differ between organisations — some ask for a few lines of text, others ask for multiple attachments, project descriptions, or bio details. Required fields are marked; you can't submit until they're complete.
If you need to stop partway, your progress is saved automatically as a Draft. You can come back later, sign in, and pick up where you left off from your submissions dashboard.
Step 3: Pay (if the submission has a fee)
If the organisation has charged a submission fee, you'll see a Continue to Payment button at the bottom of the form. Clicking this opens a secure Stripe window where you enter your card details. Your submission is not complete until payment has been processed. For details on fees, accepted cards, and refunds, see How Can I Pay for My Submission
Step 4: Submit
When the form is complete and payment (if any) has gone through, you'll see a confirmation screen and you'll receive a confirmation email — and if you paid, a second email with your receipt or invoice. The submission immediately appears in the organisation's queue and in your Dapple dashboard.
What happens after I submit?
The organisation reviews your submission on their own timeline. You can track the current stage in your dashboard in real time — each organisation sets its own stage names (e.g. In Review, Shortlisted, Rejected). You can also message the organisation from within the submission if they've enabled replies.
