You're going to be a judge or a reviewer for an organisation using Dapple. Here are the steps to signing up for a Dapple account and joining a Review Panel to provide feedback on submissions.

Step 1

You'll need to be invited to join the Organisation for which you will be judging or reviewing submissions or entries. You will receive this invite to join via an email notification - if you have yet to receive an invite and you're expecting one, double-check your spam or junk folders in case the email ended up in there. The email will look like this:

Step 2

In the email, select the option to view invitation. Selecting this will take you to the option to sign in or register for an account. You can either use the option to create an account with Google or Microsoft or have the system email a link.

Important: Make sure that you use the same email address that the invitation was sent to. E.g In the example below, the invite was sent to the email address oz+hogwarts+judge@dapplehq.info, and so I'm going to create an account for this email address using the Email a link option.

Step 3

After clicking Continue, it will send me another email with a sign-in link. Select the option to Sign in to Dapple.

Important: Make sure you select the most recent email sent to you for signing in. For security reasons, sign-in links expire every time a new request is created and so clicking on a link in an old email will not work and will lead to the message that the sign-in link is no longer valid.

Step 4

On the next screen, you will be prompted to add your name. Add this and click Save and Continue.

Step 5

On the next screen, you will see the Organisation invite that has been sent to your email address. Select the Accept button to gain access to your review panel.

If you do not see this page, it will be because the email address used to create an account is different to the one where the organisation's invitation was sent. See step 2.

Step 6

You will now be taken to your personal Review Account, which will show any Review Panels you've been assigned to and any Pending Feedback.

Important: If you don't see any panels or reviews, don't worry, it may be that the Organisation is adding you as a user to their Organisation and has yet to assign you to any Review Panel or has yet to assign any submissions to your panel. When they do, your account will automatically update.

When you have Pending Feedback in your account, here are instructions on how to review submissions.
