I'm a Judge, How do I join an Organisation

Here is a step-by-step guide to joining an organisation as a reviewer or a judge.

Written by Oz Osbaldeston

If you've been invited to be a reviewer for an organisation using Dapple, you'll get an email with a one-click invitation to join. Accept it, sign in with the same email the invite was sent to, accept the organisation invite, and you'll land on your personal Review Account where assigned submissions appear. The whole process takes just a couple of minutes.

Step 1: Watch for the invitation email

The admin team will invite you by email. The invite comes from Dapple and goes to the address the admin used. If you can't find it, check your spam or junk folder. Add noreply@dapplehq.com to your safe senders list to make sure future emails don't get filtered.

Step 2: Open the invitation

Click View Invitation in the email. You'll land on the Dapple sign-in / register screen. You can sign in with Google or Microsoft, or have Dapple email you a one-time sign-in link.

Important: use the same email address the invitation was sent to. If the invite was sent to reviewer@example.com, sign in or register with reviewer@example.com β€” otherwise Dapple won't be able to match you to the invitation.

Step 3: Complete sign-in

If you chose the email link option, open the sign-in email and click the link. Each link is single-use and expires the moment a new one is requested, so if you've requested a fresh link, use the most recent one. Old sign-in links show 'Sign-in link no longer valid' or an authentication issue.

Step 4: Add your name

First-time sign-in asks for your name. Enter it and click Save and Continue.

Step 5: Accept the organisation invite

On the next screen you'll see the invitation from the organisation. Click Accept to gain access to your Review Panel. If you don't see this screen, it's almost always because the email you signed in with doesn't match the address the invite was sent to. Sign out and try again with the correct address.

Step 6: You're in!

Dapple takes you to your personal Review Account. You'll see any Review Panels you've been added to and any Pending Feedback. If your dashboard looks empty, don't worry β€” the organisation may still be in the middle of assigning you submissions. Your account will populate automatically once they do.
