The Share tab in your project is where you grab your public submission link, see your current Visibility and Availability state, and copy a ready-made post to social.
What's on the Share tab?
Section | What it shows |
Public link | The shareable URL for your project. Copy with one click. |
Status indicator | Whether the form is currently live — combining your Visibility (Draft/Private/Public) and Availability (Anytime/Closed/Between). |
Quick share buttons | One-click shortcuts to share on common social platforms with a pre-filled message. |
How to share your project
Open the project from the Projects section.
Click the Share tab in the top nav.
Check the status indicator — confirm the form is live before sharing.
Send to your audience.
What does the status indicator tell me?
The status indicator combines two settings into one signal. You'll see one of:
Live — Visibility is Public, Availability is open. Anyone with the link can submit.
Link-only — Visibility is Private. Anyone with the link can submit, but the project isn't discoverable.
Not yet live — Visibility is Draft, or Availability is Closed / before the start date.
Closed — Availability has hit its end date or has been manually closed.
If the indicator shows anything but Live or Link-only, double-check your Visibility (Project Settings → General → Visibility) and Availability before sharing.
Best practice for sharing
Don't share the link before flipping Visibility to Public or Private. Draft links 404.
Test the public link in an incognito window before broadcasting it. You should see exactly what a creator would see.
If you're running a paid project, run a free $0 test entry first so you can confirm the whole flow before going live publicly.
Use your Page Link Instead
Many organisations will use their page link instead of sharing an individual form. This URL will hold all of your submission form links in one place and is accessible without needing to sign in. This may be a better link to add to websites, mailouts and social media. Here's more info on Pages.
