Once you have finished scoring and leaving feedback on your assigned submissions, you need to submit those reviews back to the admin team using the Submit ready feedback items button in the top-right corner of the Reviews screen. Until you do this, the admin team cannot process your feedback — reviews marked Ready to Submit but never submitted remain in progress to admins. Submitting is a one-way action: you cannot edit a review after it has been submitted, so only use this button when you are genuinely finished.
What does “Ready to Submit” mean?
When you complete the feedback form for a submission, Dapple marks that review as Ready to Submit. This means you have provided all required information — a score, a recommendation (yes / no / unsure), and any written comments — and the review is waiting to be formally submitted to the admin team.
A review in the In Progress tab that is marked Ready to Submit has not yet been received by the admin team. It is sitting in a queue on your side, waiting for you to confirm you are done.
Status | What it means | Admin can see it? |
In Progress | You have started but not finished the feedback section. | Yes but only as "in progress" |
Ready to Submit | Feedback is complete; not yet formally submitted | Yes but only as "in progress" |
Submitted | Formally submitted; admin team notified | Yes |
How do I submit my completed reviews?
Open Reviews from the left-hand navigation.
Click the In Progress tab. You will see all reviews you have started, with those marked Ready to Submit highlighted in green.
Check that every review you want to submit is marked Ready to Submit. If any still show as In Progress, open them and complete the feedback form first.
Click the Submit [N] ready feedback items button in the top-right corner. The number reflects how many Ready to Submit reviews you currently have.
Confirm the action when prompted.
Your reviews move from the In Progress tab to the Submitted tab. The admin team is notified automatically.
Please note, depending on the amount of reviews to complete, this may take a few seconds. Refresh the full page if necessary.
You can submit in batches. If you have 8 reviews ready today and finish 3 more tomorrow, you can run this process twice — once for the first 8, and again after completing the remaining 3.
Can I edit a review after submitting?
No. Submission is final. Once you click Submit ready feedback items, you cannot go back and change scores, recommendations, or written comments for those reviews. Only submit when you are confident your feedback is complete and accurate.
If you realise you have made an error after submitting, contact the admin team directly. They may be able to reset a review on their side, but this is not guaranteed.
What happens if I don’t submit?
Reviews left in the In Progress tab — even those marked Ready to Submit — are not able to be actioned by the admin team. The admin cannot process them, factor them into judging decisions, or close out the review panel. If the review deadline passes and your feedback has not been submitted, the admin team will have an incomplete set of scores and may need to chase you individually.
Submitting your reviews is the final step in the review process. Completing the feedback form is not enough on its own.
Best practice for reviewers
Check the In Progress tab regularly so you know how many reviews are awaiting your attention.
Use the Awaiting Review tab to see submissions you have not yet started.
Do not submit until you are fully satisfied — you cannot make changes afterwards.
Submit in one go where possible so the admin team receives a complete set of your feedback at once.
If you are unsure about a submission, mark your recommendation as unsure and add a comment explaining your reasoning — do not leave the form incomplete.
If you are approaching a deadline and have reviews that are not Ready to Submit, prioritise finishing those first before hitting the submit button.
