To filter submissions in Dapple, use the filter bar at the top of the Submissions view. Filters stack — pick a Project, then add a Stage, then add a Tag, and the list narrows to submissions matching every chip you've selected. Save the result as a View to recall the same filter combo with one click.
What filters are available?
Filter | What it filters by |
Project | Submissions to one or more specific projects |
Status | Core submission status — New, In Progress, Rejected, Completed |
Stage | A specific stage in your pipeline (e.g. Longlist, Shortlist) |
Submission Tags | Tags applied to individual submissions |
Creator Tags | Tags attached to the creator behind the submission |
Score | Numeric review score or score range |
Assignee | The team member assigned to the submission |
Received Date | When the submission came in |
Created | When the submission record was created (manual adds vs form entries) |
How to apply filters
Open the Submissions view.
Click any filter chip at the top of the page.
Choose the value(s) you want.
Repeat for additional filters to stack them.
Clear individual filters by clicking the × on the chip, or clear all from the More menu.
How filters combine
Filters combine with AND logic. Adding Project = Spring Awards and Stage = Shortlist returns only Shortlist submissions in Spring Awards. Within a single filter, multiple values combine with OR — adding Stage = Shortlist and Stage = Longlist returns submissions in either stage.
Save a filter combination as a View
Once you've built the filter combo you use often, save it as a View — click the star icon → Save current view. Recall it from the same star icon dropdown. Views are per-user, so each team member can save their own. Full guide: How to Save Submission Views
Export filtered submissions
Any filter combination can be exported to CSV. Apply your filters → click More → Export Query. The export contains only the submissions matching your current filter view. Full guide: How to Export Your Submissions
