Creators can manually be added to the system. Here's how:

Adding a Creator can be done manually, whether or not they have previously submitted material.

What Is a Creator?

A Creator is anyone making a submission through your forms. Each Creator has a unique profile that tracks their submissions, messages, and payments.

Steps to Add a Creator

Option 1: Add a Creator by Adding a Submission

You can add a Creator automatically when you manually create a submission. Follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Submissions section.

  2. Select Add Submission and complete the required fields, including Creator details.

  3. Once saved, a Creator profile will be created automatically, linked to the submission.

Option 2: Add a Creator Directly

  1. Navigate to the Creators section in the left-hand panel.

  2. Click on the Add Creator button.

  3. Fill in the following fields:

    • Name: The Creator’s full name.

    • Email Address: A valid email for communication and identification.

    • Date of Birth: (Optional) Useful for categorisation or eligibility.

  4. Review the profile to ensure all details are correct.

  5. Save the Creator profile.

Viewing and Managing Creator Profiles

  • Submissions: The profile will display any linked submissions.

  • Messages: Any communication with the Creator will be logged here.

  • Payments: Details of payments linked to the Creator’s submissions will also appear.

  • External Links: The creator can save external links (like CVs or Portfolios) as well as a bio which can be viewed in their profile.

Final Tips

  • Check for Duplicates: Before adding a new Creator, search the "Creators" section to ensure they don’t already exist in the database.

  • Complete Profiles: Fill out as much information as possible to maintain comprehensive records.

  • Update Regularly: As new submissions or interactions occur, ensure the Creator’s profile is up to date.
