Set your organisation's country in Settings β Organisation. The country dropdown determines your default time zone, default currency for Stripe payments, and any region-specific tax behaviour. You only need to set this once, when you create your workspace.
Why does the country matter?
The country setting connects three things together. It tells Stripe how to handle taxes and currency conversion on submission fees. It sets the default time zone for project deadlines and submission timestamps shown to your team. And it determines the regional formatting (date formats, address fields) that creators see on your public submission pages.
How to set your country
Open Settings β Organisation.
Find the Country field.
Click the dropdown and start typing your country's name.
Select it from the list.
Click Save.
What happens after I change it?
If you change country after going live, your existing time zone, currency, and tax settings update too. Any in-flight projects will continue to display submission dates in your previous time zone for already-submitted entries β only new submissions reflect the new setting.
