A Review Panel is a group of people, such as readers, editors, judges, or other reviewers, who are responsible for reviewing submissions and passing their judgment on them. Review panels make it possible to involve multiple perspectives in the decision-making process, ensuring that submissions are assessed fairly and thoroughly. Here's how to set up your Review Panels.

With Dapple, you can set up as many review panels as you need. For example:

  • A Round 1 panel to handle the first stage of reviews.

  • A Round 2 panel for shortlisted submissions.

  • Specialised panels for different categories or types of submissions.

Reviewers can be part of more than one panel at the same time. This flexibility means you can build panels that match the structure of your review process.

Each reviewer will see all the submissions assigned to them in their personal Review Account. Whether they are part of one panel or several, their dashboard clearly displays which submissions are awaiting their review and which ones are completed.

By organising reviewers into panels, you can:

  • Structure reviews across multiple rounds or categories.

  • Ensure the right people are reviewing the right submissions.

  • Keep the process fair, consistent, and easy to manage.

  • Assign reviewers to a panel quickly and easily

In short, a Review Panel is how you bring together the voices of your reviewers, enabling a structured and transparent evaluation process.
