There are three ways to send submissions for review in Dapple β one at a time, in bulk from the Stages board, or automatically when a submission hits a configured stage. All three live in the same Stages and Review Panel setup. Pick the right one based on volume and how hands-on you want to be.
Before you start
Make sure you've already done the setup steps: created a Review Panel, assigned it to the project, and configured the scoring/voting/comments rules. If you haven't, see How to Set Up Reviews in Dapple: A Step-by-Step Guide
Option 1: Send an individual submission
Open the submission you want to send.
Move it to the Stage where you've set up a Review Panel.
Click the Reviews tab on the submission.
Click Review Feedback and pick a Review Panel from the list.
If no panels appear, it usually means you haven't assigned one to this project yet. If the submission is already out for review, you'll see existing reviews listed in this tab.
Option 2: Bulk send from the Stages board
Open the Stages board and filter to the right project.
Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the Stage that contains the submissions you want to send.
Choose the bulk-send option.
Confirm β Dapple sends every submission in that Stage to the assigned Review Panel.
Bulk send is the right call for contests with rounds β push the whole longlist to the panel in one move. A blue dot on a submission card means it's already been sent for review but hasn't met the minimum review threshold yet.
Option 3: Automate sending
Set up a stage automation that sends every submission entering a stage to a specific panel automatically:
Open the Stage you want to automate.
Click Configure Actions.
Choose Send to Review Panel
Select the Review Panel that should receive submissions.
Save.
From now on, any submission that lands in this stage is pushed to the chosen panel without any manual intervention. Combine this with a stage-based webhook if you also want to notify the team.
Which option should I use?
