How to Review Submissions as an Admin Without a Separate Reviewer Account

Admins and team members review from their own login. Click your initials in the top right and choose My Reviews to see the submissions assigned to you.

You don't need a second account or another email address to review in Dapple. Click your initials or profile picture in the top right-hand corner and choose My Reviews. You'll see the submissions assigned to you for review.

Do I need a separate reviewer account?

No. Admins and team members review from the same login they use to manage Dapple. Your reviewer view sits alongside your admin view, so you can switch between the two at any time.

How do I open my reviews?

  1. Click your initials or profile picture in the top right-hand corner.

  2. Under Reviewer Account, choose My Reviews.

My Reviews opens in a new browser tab, so your admin view stays open in the original tab.

Why can't I see My Reviews in the menu?

Reviewer Account and My Reviews only appear once you've been assigned reviews. Ask an admin to assign you some, or assign them to yourself, the same way you would for any other reviewer.

What will I see in My Reviews?

Only the submissions assigned to you for review, split into three tabs:

Tab

What's in it

Assigned

Reviews you haven't started yet

In Progress

Reviews you've started but not submitted

Submitted

Reviews you've finished and submitted

You review here exactly as an external judge would.

Best practice

  • Assign yourself reviews before you look for My Reviews: the menu option won't show until you have some.

  • Keep My Reviews in its own tab, so you can switch between reviewing and managing.

  • Finish your own reviews before you look at other reviewers' scores, so they don't influence yours.
