Communicating with creators about their submissions is simple through our messaging platform. You send can individual messages to creators by following these instructions or you can send messages to multiple creators in one go.
Before sending, it's important that bulk messaging should only be used for transactional messages and NOT marketing messages. See the difference between transactional and marketing messages.
Sending from the Submissions List View
Navigate to the main submission list view
Use the filters where necessary to compile a list of those creators you'd like to message
Select the submissions you'd like to message or use the "Select All" option to select all of those submissions in the list.
Select the action button and choose Send Message to bring up the message window
After the Message dialogue box opens you can then craft your email to send. You can choose from any existing templates and edit accordingly. Remember to set the "Allow replies" option if needed. Here's more info on how to send a message.
Sending from the Stages View
You can also send bulk messages to every submission within a project Stage. E.g you may want to send a message to all those who have made it through the first round of a contest (and those who haven't). To do this:
Navigate to the Stages view and select the project you want to message
Select the button at the bottom of the Stage which is essentially a "select all" for all submissions within that Stage
Select the Send Message and follow the same steps as sending through the List view.
Use for Transactional Messages Only
Sending bulk messages is a great way to quickly update multiple creators in one go on the status of their submissions or other important information regarding their submission. They should NOT be used for marketing purposes, especially for something other than relates to the individual submission at hand (e.g discounts, offers, campaigns, promotions). Dapple reserves the right to disable this feature or remove any accounts found to be in violation of this. Please note that data can always be exported from the system and used for marketing purposes in other external software. Here's more info on transactional v marketing messages.
